Roy Charles Hammond aka Roy C, a Soul Singer, has been confirmed dead on the 16th of September 2020 by his daughter Sabrina Williams on social media.
He died at the age of 81. The cause of death is unknown at the moment. Roy C was popularly known for his 1965 hit, “Shotgun Wedding" and "Impeach the President”, which he recorded and produced with a high school group, the Honey Drippers.
Little Frankie was a little known singer that Roy C. Hammond got in to the studio, but Roy C. Hammond found out he could not sing so Roy C. Hammond did the vocals. Roy C. Hammond actually tried to get Little Frankie to perform live, but that didn't work either.
